I really enjoy music, spending time with my best friend Charlie,(the coolest you'll ever meet) dancing, laughing, hangin' with the fam feeling alive. I'm into having fun and I am more than ready to go out and see the world. I'm excited to get away from materialistic things and all that I know.

We thought we were on a 3 hour ride, but it turned out to be 6 hours. Arielle and I travel the same way, no research.

There are no motorized vehicles at the gilis, its only horse carriages, bikes and boots. I felt a little sad for the horses, they work them to the bitter end.

The water here is amazing, and the snorkeling is epic. Me and Levi were in the water all day.
"CHILL" Gili Islands
This is Levi and Nof, we traveled to the Gilis together. They are dutch and there english is ok, one thing they know how to say perfectly is "chill" the whole trip for them was just chill. haha.
I wish a photo could be as clear as my vision
Ths photo doesn't do these bright green hills any justice, and it was a little foggy, but in real life these hills are unreal. The whole time I was thinking I wish I could share this sight.
These are the mountains we were zippin' through
Lombok was a bit boring compared to what we are used to, but it sure isn't lacking in nature. The only problem was that when we went out for dinner all we saw were old people and desparate locals lining up around the block to sell us stuff. We were the first tourists to pass through in a long time.

Abi is a couch surfer, he's the same guys that took me and Lilly to Ubud. He's very nice,he shows me around to all the sweetest beaches. This is Padang Padang.

The day I carved this into the tree was such a good day, I was thinking about Charlie, the sun was out and I was hiking.
When I was writting these so many people would stop and read what I was writting and then ask me about it.. I would tell them I'm making a Valentine's Day present for the most amazing man in the world!
I took this photo a couple days after I moved in with Stephanie, we were gardening together and she wanted to cut down all of these beautiful flowers, so thinking of my baby I collected them and started working on his Valentine's day present. Not a second goes by with out me thinking of you Charlie.

Yesturday we decided to go inland and see the rice patties. We ended up spending a lot of time messing around in the monkey forest! The monkeys are greedy if you try to give them one banana they will climb up you and try to get the whole bunch.

It was a good day, we laughed so much that my abs hurt by the end of the day. no joke.

Koh Samui
There wasn't much to do on this island, so we rented a motorbike, hiked to a few waterfalls, and spent the rest of the day either eating or laying on the beach. I felt ok about it because I woke up early to go for my run.

This is my travel buddy for Ko Phi Phi, I got off the cruise ship and she saw me walking around looking confused from all of the chaos and asked me if I wanted to share a room. We spent the last few nights traveling and making lots of good memories.

This is my first day at Ko Phi Phi... absolutly amazing beaches, it is paradise. I was pretty tired after a day of carrying my heavy back pack around searching for the cheapest bungalow.

This is one of the boxers that I met. They're all quite amusing with there accents and such. We left the beach with everyone to go out to lunch, we got lost on the motorbike and couldn't find the rest of the bunch. I was kind of bummed the whole group is way more fun then just one.

Nai Harn Beach
This is the beach right from the house. It's too bad the sun wasn't out because it is much more beautiful when it is. Even though it's a little cloudy, it's still really warm out and in the water. That island on the right is the one I plan to kayak to and snorkel at.
Freedom!!!
This bike takes me everywhere, well besides my two little feet. They do a good job of taking me places too! I am so greatful that Cindy and Brian are nice enough to allow me to use this. I hardly trust myself on this thing. These little motor bikes are every where here. It's great, and to fill up the tank it's a dollar 50. I see lots of cute couples driving up and down the scenic roads together. I can't wait for Charlie to come so we can do that too.

This is the view that is about 5 minutes from where I'm staying, I like to go here every day. These are the moments when I wish I could fly.

Oh my gosh, Arielle! the pictures are so good and so inviting! It's great to see where you are and what you're doing. I love the warm ocean too, I can just imagine how good that water feels. What a great house, too. All is well here at HG. Indian summer is fabulous, but the mornings are getting crisp. Cooking teams are starting up again. I guess you heard about how bad hurricane Ike hit Texas. I miss my sweetie, too. He is in Siberia for 3 weeks and I've only got one email from him. He is working in remote places and can only access internet when he is in town and that is rare. he also can't seem to access his blog. I'm so glad Charlie will join you there at some point. It was nice to see the photos of you (beautiful as usual); although, I hated to see the poor elephants chained to posts for the tourists. They are suppose to be highly intelligent and social--give them an extra pat for me.
Yipes, I've heard that people in the South eat "all" of the pig--it seems as if they do in Thailand, too. I would finally have the will-power to lose some weight if I had to eat pig snouts.
